Argentina, along with China and the United Stated, is one of the leading exporters of peanuts in the world, occupying the first place in the export of high quality peanuts. Argentina has an area of approximate 300,000 hectares for peanut cultivation, divided between the South of the Province of Cordoba, east of the Province of San Luis, North of the Province of La Pampa and the northern area of the Province of Salta.

Argentina has an absolutely privileged position in the international market for very important reasons:

• Guarantee of aflatoxine levels in line with the strict standards required by the european market.

• Guarantee of all quality requirements due to the efficient conditioning processes.

• Guarantee of competitive price levels for the consuming industries.

• Guarantee of exportable quantities, required for the best supply of consuming industries.

OLEGA plants and control approximately 35,000 hectares per year of peanuts farming, which between 20,000 and 25,000 hectares are planted by the company itself.
