The safety of our product is achieved through the application and implementation of a HACCP system, which was built on a solid foundation of Prerequisites of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Sanitation Standards Operating Procedures (POES).

The HACCP system aims to identify the hazards related to consumer safety, which may occur in the production line, establishing control processes to ensure a safe product to the consumer.

Our processing plants have documented a procedure of Good Manufacturing Practices and Regulations, which detailed the building structure, the establishment sanitary conditions, personal hygiene, process control, storage, transportation of finished product and pest control, among others.

As a food processing establishment, OLEGA has detailed internal documents relating to Sanitation Standards Operating Procedures, in relation to all activities and facilities where food is handled, as well as the staff dining room, the bathrooms, the workshop, the materials storage and the green spaces.

On the other hand, we have in the peanut processing plant and in the blanching plant the global standard certification of food safety British Retail Consortium (BRC), ensuring the highest standards of quality to our customers.

Besides working with the certification of international quality standards, OLEGA has 3 fully modern equipped laboratories, where we determined the physical and chemical properties of the different products when they reach the processing plant, during the selection process and on the lots ready and already processed.

Our laboratories have implemented the regulation ISO 17,025, which defines the highest standards according to the care, hygiene and safety in laboratories.
